KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute participated at EWEA 2013 as one of the companies of the KONČAR Group. EWEA is the Europe’s premiere wind power event, with both fair and conference parts, and this year it was held in Vienna from 4 to 7 February.
Within the KONČAR’s production programme, the Institute presented its own design of wind turbine monitoring and control system KONČAR KONwecs.
In the conference part, KONČAR – Institute was represented with the presentation „Wind turbine control beyond the cut-out wind speed“ by Mate Jelavić, PhD. Its topic – new approaches to wind turbine control in very strong winds – engaged the interest and discussion of more than 150 conference attendees who attended the session.
