To mark the International Children’s Day, UNICEF has organized a campaign under the name of KidsTakeOver, inviting companies and institutions in Croatia to open their door to children.
This activity takes place in 130 countries worldwide, and among the companies that participated in the KidsTakeOver day was KONČAR.
Around thirty children from elementary and secondary schools, along with their teachers, had the opportunity to visit two companies in the KONČAR Group today. At KONČAR – Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering Inc. elementary school students could participate in programming workshops, while at KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute Inc. students from the School of Electrical Engineering in Zagreb visited the laboratories and learned how the embedded computer-system hardware and software are developed, produced and tested.
