The development coordinator in the strategic area of renewable energy sources, dr. sc. Mate Jelavić from KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute won the award “Vera Johanides” given by the Academy of Technical Sciences.
The “Vera Johanides” is awarded to a scientist younger than 35 who achieved a significant personal, scientific or professional advancement in the last five years or who made a considerable contribution in the area they research. Starting from this year, the criteria are also more suited to the doctors from the area of economy taking into account patents and innovations and not only published articles in science magazines.
