KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute received the Charter of the Republic of Croatia for exceptional contribution to scientific, economic and social development of Croatia.
On 9 October 2013, on the occasion of the Independence Day, President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović presented the Charter of the Republic of Croatia to Prof. Dr. Stjepan Car, President of the Management Board of the Institute. The Charter is awarded to legal entities for their contribution to the development and advancement of the international position of the Republic of Croatia, as well as for contribution to the development of Croatian science, culture, economy etc.
KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute is actively participating in all the current trends in electric power sector, contributing to the development of new advanced equipment and services and providing sustainable development. Its business activities are oriented towards innovations for the global market and based on corporate responsibility.
The Institute is a member of the Union of Croatian Innovators, in whose programmes it regularly participates in order to promote innovativeness in academic community.
