Order of Danica Croatia with the figure of Nikola Tesla for special merits for invention and promotion of technical culture in the country and the world was awarded to Stjepan Car, Ph.D. The award was presented to him by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Ivo Josipović, at the closing ceremony of the 10th International Exhibition of Innovations ARCA 2012.
World Communication Award 2012 – KONČAR Hybrid Box, a hybrid autonomous base station power supply system, London, 2012, was named the best “green” product in the “The Green Award” category.
