Product certification is carried out within the Certification Service – SCERT.
Accredited testing and calibration can be carried out in our Laboratory Center.
KONČAR – Electrical Engineering Institute is accredited by the Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA) in accordance with HRN EN ISO/IEC 17065 for the scope of certification specified in Accreditation Certificate No. 3169. HAA is a signatory to EA-MLA and ILAC-MRA.
As a European Commission Notified Body, we enable manufacturers and importers to assess the conformity of their products with European directives and standards to put the CE mark on the product and place it on the EU market.

Application for certification
The certification process begins by submitting the completed and verified Application form. To extend the certification scope or renew the certificate, the Declaration of Identity should be submitted with the Application form.
Costs
After accepting the Application for Certification, SCERT will send an offer to the client with the specified scope of certification, price, deadline, and commercial conditions. The offer is considered binding when the client submits a purchase order or a verified offer.

The client needs to submit documentation that will enable the assessment of product compliance with the requirements:
Tests can be performed in our Laboratory Center or another laboratory with the professional supervision of a SCERT expert. Additional tests are contracted separately.
Issuance of Certificate
The certificate is issued only if the product complies with the requirements. If the product does not meet the requirements, no certificate will be issued and the customer will be charged for the service performed until then.
Surveillance
SCERT has the right to check whether the client uses the issued certificate in accordance with the subject and scope of certification. The scope of surveillance will depend on the certification scheme and possible complaints and information from the market. If the client incorrectly refers to the certificate or misuses it, SCERT will warn him in writing of irregularities and, if necessary, suspend the certificate.
Complaints and appeals
In case of dissatisfaction with the work of SCERT or the decision related to the issuance of a certificate, the client may file a complaint or appeal in writing. SCERT will consider each expression of dissatisfaction and respond to the client, also in writing.
