Due to long-term experience and expertise in the areas of electric power and traction vehicles, R&D for particular products and services provided by KONČAR-Electrical Engineering Institute Inc. has been recognized on the global market.
The Institute made a significant contribution to development of transformers, rotating machines, wind turbines and traction vehicles manufactured by the KONČAR Group. At the same time, it has successfully launched own products to the market including power equipment monitoring systems, control systems and a hybrid autonomous supply system based on renewable sources.
The Institute is accredited for product conformity assessment in accordance with international, European and Croatian standards. In the frame of its 9 laboratories it carries out various testing of power equipment, materials and electronic devices. Moreover, it provides field and diagnostic tests as well as supervision service.
The greatest strength of the Institute is its employees and it also pays great attention to collaboration with the academic community on various R&D projects.
